Apocalyptica

Apocalyptica é uma banda finlandesa formada por três violoncelistas e, desde 2005, um baterista. Tem como especialidade o "symphonic metal" (heavy metal com aspectos de sinfonia), tocando também música clássica. Todos os formadores frequentaram a Academia Sibelius, em Helsinque, onde se conheceram e, em 1993, se juntaram para fazer, por diversão, arranjos com violoncelos. Seus integrantes são Eicca Toppinen, Paavo Lötjönen, Max Lilja e Antero Manninen.

   ROCK IN RIO 2011

O Rock in Rio é o maior festival de música e entretenimento do mundo. Sempre zelando pela qualidade das atrações, o conforto do público e uma infraestrura impecável, é um evento feito para todas as tribos que movimenta a indústria fonográfica, o turismo e a economia.

A ideia vem do empresário brasileiro Roberto Medina, que realizou no mês de janeiro de 1985 sua primeira edição, em plena transição da ditadura para a democracia: o Rock in Rio convidou o Brasil a comemorar a liberdade.

Em suas nove edições, sendo três no Brasil (1985, 1991 e 2001), quatro em Portugal (2004, 2006, 2008 e 2010) e duas na Espanha (2008 e 2010), o Rock in Rio reuniu mais de 5 milhões de pessoas, que aplaudiram ao vivo 656 bandas. Foram mais de 780 horas de música com transmissão para mais de 1 bilhão de telespectadores em 80 países.

Este ano , o Rock in Rio retorna ao Brasil , e fará apresentações com bandas como : Metallica , Motorhead , Slipknot , Angra, Sepultura e muito mais , então não deixem de ir ao maior evento de musica do mundo ... o ROCK IN RIO !!!

                    The Final Frontier - Iron Maiden :

 

The Final Frontier é o décimo quinto álbum de estúdio do Iron Maiden, que foi lançado em 13 de agosto de 2010 na Alemanha e na Finlândia, 17 de agosto nos Estados Unidos e 16 de agosto de 2010 mundialmente, tendo sua pré-turnê marcada para começar entre agosto e outubro de 2010, no Canadá e EUA. Com 76 minutos e 34 segundos de duração, é o álbum de estúdio da banda mais longo até agora. Ele será o seu primeiro álbum de estúdio desde o lançamento do A Matter of Life and Death em 2006.

Depois de 30 anos do lançamento de seu álbum auto-intitulado em 1980, The Final Frontier será o 15° álbum de estúdio, conquistando a notável média de um novo álbum a cada dois anos durante 30 anos e totalizando mais de 80 milhões de álbuns vendidos neste período.

The Final Frontier World Tour começa em Dallas em 9 de junho com 25 shows em grandes cidades dos EUA e Canadá, tocando para 350.000 fãs ou mais. Em seguida a tour embarca para a Europa, a partir de Dublin em 30 de julho e toca em alguns dos maiores festivais e estádios, indo finalmente para Valencia, Espanha, em 21 de agosto, e incluindo um show naTransylvania. Melvyn Grant. No Brasil, farão seis shows entre março e abril de 2011, nas cidades de São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Belém do Pará, Recife e terminará em Curitiba.
